Helderberg Heroes Project is a grass roots, all volunteer effort to support the courageous men and women who are serving our country. Our goal is simple: to express our gratitude and provide encouragement by sending care packages of “goodies,” letters, and cards to deployed soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines around the world. A little bit of kindness goes a long way for a lonely soldier away from home.

Helderberg Heroes Project is an ambitious project which will require the support of many caring individuals, organizations, and businesses. All donations will go directly to the benefit of our active-duty military service personnel.

Our success will depend on the generosity of others.

Ways You Can Help

• Helderberg Heroes Project is partnering with Operation Adopt a Soldier out of Saratoga Springs to provide Christmas stockings to deployed service men and women. Sponsor a service member with a donation of $20. Please click here for details and donation form.

• Monetary Donation: Make a donation to facilitate the purchase of supplies and mailing fees.

• Donate Supplies: Donate or organize a collection of needed items.

• Volunteer at one of our packing events. Register to be notified of future packing events.

• Register the name of a deployed soldier, airman, sailor or Marine.

• Write Letters or Cards: Host a letter writing or card writing event.

• Share the word with family, friends, co-workers, your church or other groups you may be associated with.
